MOSB Life Membership Application Instructions


To obtain a Life Membership in the Military Order of the Stars & Bars, you need to complete the Internet form found on this website. The form, after completion, should have a check attached to it made payable to International Headquarters MOSB.

MOSB Life Membership Fees are age driven and vary from $300 (under age 60) to $200 (ages 60-70, inclusive) and $100 (over age 70). This is really pretty simple, and makes a great gift for a grandfather to give out. Review the charts below for Life Member Fees and Payment Options.


If your age is Under 60, then your MOSB Life Membership is $300

 1 additional payment of $150 or . . .
Remaining due by the end of month 12.
2 additional payments of $75 each

If you are between 60 and 70 years old, inclusive, then your MOSB Life Membership is $200

If you are older than 70 years old, then your MOSB Life Membership is $100

Life Membership applications should be run through your Chapter Adjutant. He needs to note this on your membership records so you will not be billed for National Dues once you become a life member.

PLEASE NOTE - If you do send your Life Membership application directly to Headquarters, let your Chapter Adjutant know as soon as possible so that the proper notation can be made on your records. This will reflect you as a LIFE MEMBER in what is now called "Chapter 8".

The Life Membership fee is subject to change with a posted sixty (60) days notice in the ''Officer Call Newsletter", in the Confederate War Journal, or by General Executive Council Notice. Any changes in cost will NOT affect those who are already a Life Member or in the payment stage at time such notice might be given!

Once your National Life Membership fee is paid, all you will then need to pay each year is your State Society Dues and your local Chapter Dues.

Your State Society may have a Society Lifetime Membership as well. You may want to check this out with your Society Adjutant!
