James Frazee
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary Chapel
for James W. Frazee, 73, formerly of Topeka. He died Tuesday, Jan.
29, 2002, in Sun Lakes, Ariz.
Mr. Frazee was president and CEO of Mobile Communications. He also
designed and installed the first 911 emergency service system in
Topeka.
He was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Topeka, the son of Ralph and Geraldine
Lindblade Frazee. He graduated from Topeka High School and earned
a bachelor's degree in history at Washburn University.
Mr. Frazee was an Eagle Scout and was active in Boy Scouts of America.
He was president of the Sons of the American Revolution, Palo Verde
Chapter. He was past president of Civitan and a member of the Genealogical
Society of Topeka.
He married Jeanellen Regnier on Aug. 28, 1948, in Wamego. She died
July 12, 1984. He later married Loleta Mae King. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Michelle Kirby, San Antonio,
Texas, and Yvonne Hummer, Topeka; a son, James W. Frazee Jr., Topeka;
and six grandchildren.
Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Mr. Frazee will lie in state
after 3 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, where visitation will be from
6 to 7 p.m.
